If you have not read the Dark Elements trilogy or if you have not gotten to the last installment (i.e. Storm and Fury begins about 6 months after the events of Every Last Breath. I got the EARC about two months ago (maybe a little more than that), sadly I had to put it on hold because I had to read other books that were coming out sooner, but finally I read it early May and oh gosh you guys!!!! I could not put it down.

Storm and Fury gets 4.5 out of 5 blue stars in the Then There Were Books review book.Īs I mentioned before Storm and Fury is a spinoff of The Dark Elements series which is one of my favorites series out there and when I learned that Armentrout was revisiting that world I knew I needed to get my hands on this book right away. I will try to persuade you in this review so beware. If you are not convinced that you need to pre order this book by the description alone, I don’t know what will make you do it. But all bets are off as a supernatural war is unleashed… To save her family and maybe the world, she’ll have to put her trust in Zayne. Zayne has secrets of his own that will upend her world yet again-but working together becomes imperative once demons breach the compound and Trinity’s secret comes to light. Not the least because one of the outsiders is the most annoying and fascinating person she’s ever met. When Wardens from another clan arrive with disturbing reports that something out there is killing both demons and Wardens, Trinity’s safe world implodes. If the demons discover the truth about Trinity, they’ll devour her, flesh and bone, to enhance their own powers. Her unique gift is part of a secret so dangerous that she’s been in hiding for years in an isolated compound fiercely guarded by Wardens-gargoyle shape-shifters who protect humankind from demons. Let’s read what Storm and Fury is all about before I tell you how much I loved this book:Įighteen-year-old Trinity Marrow may be going blind, but she can see and communicate with ghosts and spirits. This new series is a spinoff of The Dark Elements series which is one of my favorite of all time.

I got an EARC of this story for an honest review by Armentrout and I will get real honest with you.

I swear you guys I have read about 95% of her books and I’m still amazed at how intricate, innovative and just all around awesome her stories are.Īs the title of this post says, I will be talking to you about her brand new series, The Harbinger series, specifically book number one, Storm and Fury. I’m coming to you with a book from one of my favorite authors of all time, queen Jennifer L. Yes, I know you guys were patiently waiting for me to post and recommend you another book (I know you are not, but let me dream!).
